No - but it won't work with windows either.

This is a highly advanced Yule 3000. It contains technology not found in ordinary stores, no this product is indicative of advancements from the Dollar Store.
Buy 1.. Buy 3!
Just know that it is crap and Woot doesn't want it anymore. They can't even pawn it off on their (unsuspecting) employees.

Kodak 8MP Digital Camera and Multifunction Printer Bundle
No.
1 Kodak Easyshare V803 8 Megapixel Digital Camera
1 Kodak Easy Share 5100 All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier
3 Bits.
Camera probably works via libptp, and as Kodak developed the picture transfer protocol (ptp, supported via libptp), I'd bet you can pull picture off the camera with it. Even if you can't, theres always the SD/MMC slot and a card reader.
Copier function is stand alone and linux support is not applicable
Printer bit works with OS X 10.5, Leopard, and thus, via CUPS, works on linux.
(The Easyshare-printer-dock driver under CUPS on linux)
The scanner however, does not seem to. Libsane and libsane-extras doesn't seem to list the scanner.
Someone tried with Ubuntu 7.04, and an EasyShare 5500 instead of the 510 being sold here, and it
did not work. It is not a definite indicator, but it is not a good sign.

NavMan N40i NavPix 3.5" Touchscreen GPS
No.
1 NavMan N40i NavPix 3.5” Touchscreen GPS with Built-in 1.3MP Digital Camera
This product has been discontinued by NavPix, so you do not get their newer NavDesk software but their slightly older SmartST Software. SmartST didn't match anything in WineHQ's database. It uses Microsoft's .NET 2.0 technology, which seems to be working in certain versions of wine, however, ActiveSync, which the program uses to sync to the GPS device, does not. Given that this is a multi function device, it does not appear that there is a USB Mass Storage profile for this device.
Heh, you can subscribe to their "Safety Camera POIs" map data - meaning known speed/red-light cameras are noted on the ma (arguably more useful in the UK).

Pinnacle has used this chipset for a usb capture device before (see drivers/media/video/em28xx/em28xx-cards.c in the kernel source). It does not look like this device has USB ID's already defined in the file, but seeing as how the chipset is already used and understood by the kernel, it shouldn't be too hard to add support for this.

Power Sentry Theatre Director Surge Protector, Line Conditioner and UPS for Home Theater
No.
Power Sentry's home page doesn't even list this product, but given that theres no option on the support page for what kind of UPS you have, I'm gonna assume the internals for the UPS are the same, which means the drivers are the same. The windows program is a java app which uses SNMP to talk to everything. Theres an PSRMI.exe that I'm guessing talks, via jusb.dll, to windows and the UPS. Given that, it wouldn't be impossible to reverse engineer the usb protocol and pack it into the newhidups driver. Looking at drivers.list in the NUT package, theres no listing of the actual device.

- Mustek MDC500 5.0MP Digital Camera: Yes, USB Mass Storage
- Philips 1GB MP3 Player : Yes; Everybody's favorite... USB Mass Storage! Whoo!
- Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 w/ GPS Locator Hardware: No, not even usb mass storage can save you now, WINE, however, may be able to help. Winehq.org has one listed test from Jan 2006, which basically says no/performed poorly and didn't even try the gps, which is half the sell.
- Mustek MBT-D120 Bluetooth Dongle: Yes, standard bluetooth dongle.
- SanDisk Sansa e260 4GB Media Player: Yes, libmtp's compatibility page lists the e260 as fully working under libmtp, additionally, the e260 also supports, yes, thats right, USB Mass Storage.
- Netgear 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter:Yes, these supposedly have the Prism54G chipset inside, which has linux drivers. But if not, theres always NDIS Wrapper for basic wifi needs. NDIS 1.49 was released recently, which includes not crashing not a pre-empt disabled kernel.

- Vivitar 8MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Zoom: Yes, so much yes, that Vivitar doesn't list drivers for it on their homepage.
- Palm Treo 650 Smartphone: Yes, Kpilot and GnomePilot.
- Sandisk Sansa e270 6GB Media Player:Yes - MSC. Libmtp does not list this device on their compatibility page.

- Logitech ClickSmart 510 Webcam: Yes via the SPCA50X driver.
- Sandisk Sansa m240 1GB MP3 Player: Yes, MSC; listed with no information on libmtp page.
- Black or White 30 GB Zune:No. Not MSC compatible.
- Mustek 30GB Multifunction Personal Video Recorder: Yes, I haven't heard of Mustek before, but I like how Woot (basically) spells out MSC on the front page.
- Mustek DV-5600 Digital Still Camcorder: Yes, the magic words 'Mass Storage'.

I wonder if they'd be more popular if they could run Linux, with drivers for wifi, for all sorts of wireless fun. As it were, the iPod Touch beat them to it.
As a combo device, Nokia N800 style wifi web browser, and a music player, the Zune could'a been a contender. Unfortunately, the lack-luster wifi support, along with the $2 to Universal Music from Microsoft for each Zune purchased meant no-buy. In fact, the $2 to Universal Music Group for each Zune sold isn't even as bad as the 'PlaysForSure' not playing on the Zune.
Jeesh. I'd forgotten how much the Zune sucked. As nice as the hardware is, Microsoft missed the boat.

InFocus ScreenPlay 7210 HD DLP Projector
Not Applicable, but yes.
XRandR 1.2 will do wonders for multi-head Linux, and allow you to hook up a projector to your laptop and use it as a display without restarting X. Its already out and distributions are starting to use it. Gutsy Ubuntu has support for it, and even has a tool to let you add and remove the second monitor, though it is currently heavily reliant on driver support.

Useful concept; but what I like more is being able to change what the microphone jack on a laptop does. Of course that doesn't get you as many jacks as today's woot. What the mic jack does, at least on the Macbook Pro's, is configurable at least, by accident, in software.
(Early Linux drivers for the Macbook Pro's had the microphone jack as a headphone jack. This is the only basis for this speculation. Whether this is actually possible remains to be seen.)

Palm Treo 600 Unlocked Smartphone
Yes.
The PalmOS is well supported by Linux, you can use kpilot or gnome-pilot to sync. More interestingly, and this is for the Tungsten E palm, ie not the product on woot, is the project to
run Linux on the palm itself. The extent of whats required is to dd a (specific) image to an SD card and reboot your Palm.
As a side note, Palm has been rumored to be moving to a Linux based platform to replace its aging Palm platform for ages now.

The USB device mode will let you connect this to a linux pc as a usb-mass storage device. However, running linux ON the picture frame is not supported. The picture frame will play divx which seems handy.

Vivitar 8625 Digital Camera
*Unconfirmed*
I think so, yes. Vivitar's own support website does not show drivers for this camera which makes be believe that it shows up as a mass storage device, which Linux has drivers for.
If someone gets this and has more details about if this camera works with linux, please share them with me.

Not (directly) Applicable
The Roomba as a household robot (of the future) is automated, and doesn't need to interface with a computer. With that out of the way, iRobot's Roomba as a hardware platform is great!
Theres the Roomba laser sight bb-gun which'll track an object pointed with a laser sight. Theres the Poster printing roomba.
Theres a serial port on them, and the interface is documented
Add a laptop running linux to the top to interface to this port, and its running with linux!
Oh yeah, and it vacuums.

Linux has drivers to connect to the USB port on the Garmin, which you can use to update the maps. It presents as a standard USB mass storage device.
As a side note, Garmin's European competitor, TomTom, straight up runs linux on the devices.

Microsoft Zune 30GB Digital Media Player
No.
The Zune itself, will run Linux (or so is claimed). But nothing past listing the files from linux has been released.
If more people had them, esp developer-types, then there might be more support. But what kind of self respecting linux developer is going to buy a /microsoft/ zune? Catch-22.

Yes. But only half.
This mp3/wma player has 2 modes, USB Mass storage device mode, which is well supported under linux, and a Windows-media player mode which does not. It claims better battery life and play time with windows, but it will work just fine with linux.

Razer HP-1 Barracuda 5.1 Headphones
Mmm.. Yes and No. Hopefully fully supported soon though.
Yes, if you have a 5.1 sound card with 5 outputs, you can plug in the 5 plugs from the headphones in to your sound card. Then theres the usb bit. It's supported to the point that it will make noise, but it seems the sound quality it terrible. Hopefully it'll get better soon.

This one, however, does.
Created by an IBM research group, and rather unwieldy, especially to type on, the linux wrist watch does not take your heart rate.
And wtf? Blue night vision? Isn't that backwards? While I'm sure its got a cool indigo glow, blue and night vision don't go together.

Honestech My-IPTV
No.
Half of the value-add for this package is the software, which is windows only. I doubt WINE will work (I'd love to be proven wrong on that). You seems you login to you home via my-iptv.com and interface to your home that way. That much will not work. And if thats not working, then thats half the product right there.
The hardware sounds like theres a hardware mpeg4 encoder, which is pretty cool, and a broadcast decoder, but no one has these. A quick jaunt through the kernel source shows nothing like that.

Netgear 802.11g WG111 USB Wifi
This Twofer-Tuesday gets us a WG111 USB wifi adapter.
This will work with linux via ndiswrapper, but thats non-idea. Netgear pulled the usual bs with versioning. It looks like there are 2 versions, one has a prism54 chipset and the other (v2) with a realtek chipset. Theres a prism54 driver and RTL8187 driver for the other if you're handy.
(This assumes woot isn't selling the WG111T instead of the WG111)

Although nothing is quite on the level of iTunes, there are programs to make syncing to the ipod easier. Gtkpod and amarok both do a reasonable job. Make sure the iPod is formatted for windows, as mac formatted iPods don't work so well with linux.

Woot
Created... Gotta start sometime.
Today's woot is a pair of (already sold out) bluetooth headphones.
They will work with Linux if you have a bluetooth adapter and are good with linux.
Basically, you setup bluetooth to talk to the headset, which includes setting up the pin, then bluetooth-alsa to allow programs to talk to bluetooth via alsa. Lastly, setup beep-audio-player or xmms or what-have-you to use an alsa device for audio output.
bluez.org wiki page
(There was a better guide I found months ago, but isn't turning up in google right now.
