  • Adaptec GameBridge AVC-1410 TV USB2 Video Capture/TV Tuner: No - But if someone wants to send me one, it looks like it uses a cx25840 chipset, which, via PCI, is already supported in Linux.

  • Adaptec AVC-1400 GameBridge USB 2.0 Adapter: No, but same thing as the 1410 above

  • Kodak 7.1MP C743 Camera: Yes, via USB Mass Storage (Even though using the provided software on Windows has this show up as a camera in windows, it will actually work as a usb mass storage device)
  • Logitech Black QuickCam Communicate USB Webcam: Yes - drivers

  • ATI Radeon X600SE 128mb PCI Express Video Card: Yes - This card uses the R300 chipset, which is supported in the XOrg Git tree.
  • RCA Lyra 20GB MP3 Player: Yes - Unlike earlier models, this Lyra does not require use of music match, or their custom mpy format. Mounts as USB Mass Storage.

  • SanDisk Sansa e250 2GB Media Player: Yes - This device offers both MTP mode (windows only), and MSC, Mass Storage Class, which is our good old friend, the USB Mass Storage driver.

    Update: I lied earlier when I said MTP is windows only. It still pretty much is, but theres support being added with libmtp and MTPFS. Their compatibility page shows the e250 has not been reported to work, but e260 and e280 have both been reported to work.

  • Logitech QuickCam Express USB Web Camera: Yes, same driver as the QuickCam Communicate above.


  • Palm M105 Multilingual PDA w/ Cradle: Yes, well supported by kpilot and GnomePilot.
